Your estimate enquiry and privacy.

Your privacy choices
The controls load here when website measurement is available. If JavaScript is disabled, our browser-based measurement does not run. Your browser’s Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track setting also disables it.
What you share
When you request an estimate, we collect your name, email, phone number, property address, the service and description you provide, and any photos and videos you choose to upload. Uploads are optional. We also record which page on this website contained the enquiry form, to help understand your request. Unless you opt out, we also save a broad visit-source category and the Clover landing page with the enquiry to measure which links bring requests. This basic source recording is separate from Google Analytics. It does not save full referring URLs, search terms, ad-click identifiers or visitor identifiers. We never add guessed sources to earlier enquiries. Please avoid uploading images containing people, identification documents or other details unrelated to the work.
How we use it
We use this information to understand the work, prepare an estimate, contact you and arrange services. We do not add you to a marketing list simply because you request an estimate.
Where it goes
This website is hosted through ChatGPT Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure. Requests are saved in the website’s database, and uploaded photos and videos are stored privately. Resend sends a notification with your enquiry details to Clover’s business inbox. Small photo collections may be attached. Videos and larger collections remain in private storage and are accessed through the owner-protected enquiry page. These providers process the information needed to provide hosting, storage and email delivery.
Address suggestions and coverage checks
When address suggestions are available, the address field identifies Google Maps as the provider. Typing a search sends that address text and technical connection information to Google Maps to find matching addresses. We do not send your name, email, phone number, notes or uploads with these searches. You can enter your address manually, including a unit number, without choosing a suggestion. We retain only the address you submit for your enquiry, not a database of suggested addresses.
On the service-areas page, choosing an address also retrieves its location from Google Maps so the checker can compare it with our coverage outline in your browser. Clover does not send that search to its enquiry database, save the coordinates, or include them in analytics. The checker does not submit an enquiry. If you want a manual check instead, use the estimate form. Address lookup is separate from optional analytics and ad measurement. Google Maps processes searches under its Privacy Policy. Use of Google Maps address suggestions is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service. If suggestions are unavailable, you can still type your full address and send your request.
Access and retention
Saved enquiry records and photos and videos are available through an owner-protected website page and Clover’s business email. We retain enquiry information for responding to your request, managing the work and keeping related business records. Contact us if you want to ask about, correct or request deletion of your enquiry information.
Basic website protection
The estimate service uses a hashed connection identifier to limit repeated submissions. It does not store your raw IP address in the enquiry record. Your estimate form works whether you accept or reject optional measurement.
Basic website totals
Unless you have turned basic totals off or your browser sends a privacy signal, we automatically count page views, form starts, clicks on estimate links and taps on phone and email links. We also count clicks on marked service choices, project stories and Clover’s Amazon affiliate product links, plus form submission attempts and validation or submission errors. Only a fixed event category is saved; we do not send link text, product identifiers, form values or error messages to the counters. Affiliate clicks do not establish that a purchase or commission occurred. We also count when a page reaches 50% or 90% scroll depth and when time spent with the page visible and the window focused reaches 10, 30 or 60 seconds. These are combined daily totals by public page and event, not individual visitor records or journeys between pages. Each event type is counted at most once per page load. The time milestones do not record exact visit durations or prove that someone was reading.
Separate combined counts show a broad referring-source category: Google, Bing, other search, recognized AI assistant websites, social, other referral, or direct/unknown. An AI referring category is a clue about the arrival website, not proof that an assistant recommended Clover. They use only the referring website category, not search queries or ad markers, and cannot distinguish paid from organic traffic. We also count the initial browser viewport in three width groups: under 600 pixels, 600–1023 pixels, or 1024 pixels and above. This describes the page’s available display width, not a device identity.
These counters do not use tracking cookies or visitor identifiers. They do not store IP addresses, location, device details, referring URLs, URL query details, exact durations, form answers or enquiry references. The source and viewport counts are not attached to enquiries or combined into visitor profiles. Basic counts stay in Clover’s website database and are not sent to Google. Reports cover the latest 90 calendar days; older totals are cleared when new activity is recorded.
The permanent Privacy & cookie choices link in the footer opens a side panel where you can turn basic totals off at any time. The controls at the top of this Privacy Policy page remain available too. The optional Google controls’ Accept and Reject buttons control Google measurement; rejecting also stops enquiry-source recording unless you separately turn source recording on. Basic totals keep their current setting, including any previous opt-out. The full controls appear directly on this privacy page. Visitors without a saved Google choice may see a compact cookie-choice card outside the enquiry form. It offers Accept optional cookies, Reject optional cookies and Manage preferences. It does not enable Google automatically or require a choice to use the form.
We preserve earlier opt-outs and honour the browser’s Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. A preference saved in your browser remembers your basic-totals choice until you change it or clear site storage; this is not a tracking identifier. Opting out stops future counts, but we cannot remove an individual contribution from an existing combined total because it has no visitor identifier.
Counts are approximate and do not tell us how many unique people visited, whether a phone tap became a call, or whether an email tap became a sent email. We separately count saved enquiries from the records needed to respond to customers, including enquiries from visitors who declined measurement. Basic totals are not linked to those records. Hosting infrastructure still processes connection information to deliver and protect the website and may keep technical logs.
Optional Google measurement
Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement are off unless this browser has a current, explicit choice to enable them. This applies in every region. If you want to enable this measurement, choose Accept optional cookies on the cookie card, or select Accept Google measurement in the controls at the top of this page. Reject keeps it off or withdraws a previous acceptance. Either choice leaves your basic-totals setting unchanged.
Only after opt-in, Google receives technical information such as browser and device information, analytics cookie identifiers, a simplified Clover page URL, event type and, when present, valid Google ad-click identifiers. Google can use these cookie identifiers and events to measure sessions and engagement. For recognized search, social and AI providers, we may send the referring provider’s website origin, such as https://www.google.com, without its page path, search query or fragment. Other referring URLs and arbitrary URL query details are excluded.
We do not send your enquiry name, email, phone number, property address, notes, service answers, photos, videos or enquiry reference to Google Analytics. We do not use this setup for personalized ads, Google Signals, enhanced conversions or uploading customer contact information.
Basic enquiry-source recording
To measure which links bring estimate requests, this site reads ad URL markers or fixed paid Google campaign tags and the referring website category. It keeps only a broad category and a public Clover landing-page path in this tab for a 30-minute window. A new detected external arrival starts a new window. No tracking cookies, visitor IDs, full referring URLs, raw campaign values or ad-click identifiers are saved by this feature. It makes no measurement requests to Google. If you submit an enquiry, the category and path are saved with it and included in the notification to Clover. Once attached to your enquiry, this information is part of your enquiry record, not anonymous totals.
Detailed measurement information and controls are kept on this Privacy Policy page, available through the website footer’s Privacy & cookie choices link. The cookie card’s Manage preferences button opens a side panel on the current page so an unfinished enquiry stays open. You can turn enquiry-source recording off at any time using Turn off enquiry-source recording at the top of this page, without affecting your ability to submit the form. We honour existing measurement refusals, basic-totals opt-outs, Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. A deliberate source-recording choice can change a previous Google refusal for this source feature only; it does not enable Google. Turning off basic totals or a browser privacy signal still blocks source recording. The source preference is stored only to remember your choice. Withdrawing clears the tab’s source record and stops attaching new source information; contact Clover to request deletion of information already submitted.
An observed ad marker indicates an ad-tagged link, not independent proof of a billed click. A Google referral without an ad marker leaves paid versus organic unconfirmed. If the browser strips referral details, JavaScript or storage is blocked, permission was declined, or a source window has expired, the source can be unknown. Internal navigation without a remembered source cannot reconstruct an earlier arrival. We do not guess or backfill earlier enquiries.
On page loads without a current explicit acceptance, we do not load the Google measurement tag, send measurement events to Google or send the basic enquiry-source record to Google. Your estimate form works either way. Use Manage preferences on the cookie card or Privacy & cookie choices in the footer to open a side panel without leaving your form. Changes apply only when you choose Save my preferences. Closing the panel or pressing Escape discards unsaved changes. The controls on this Privacy Policy page remain available too. An explicit choice to enable Google measurement lasts for up to 180 days in this browser, and a current saved acceptance continues to apply. Missing or expired permission leaves Google measurement off; clearing site storage removes saved choices. Earlier rejections remain respected, and Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track prevents optional measurement.
Analytics cookies expire after up to 180 days and may be refreshed during permitted visits. Turning Google measurement off saves your refusal, immediately blocks new measurement events sent by our site and, unless separately enabled, enquiry-source recording, and clears the Google measurement cookies this site can access. Reloading removes Google code already loaded. Saving a Google opt-out in the side panel does not reload or clear your form; it shows a reminder to finish your enquiry before using the footer’s Reload page button. The privacy controls warn that choosing Reject Google and reload restarts the page and may clear unfinished form entries or selected uploads. Finish or save your enquiry before choosing that action. Until you reload, previously loaded Google code remains in the page and may still communicate with Google. Refresh other open Clover tabs too. If permission expires or changes in another tab after Google code has loaded, an inline status in the footer explains that a reload is needed. It does not automatically open privacy settings, reload the page or clear an unfinished enquiry. You can finish your enquiry before using the footer’s Reload page button. Withdrawal does not automatically delete records already saved or data already sent to Google. Contact us about deleting enquiry information.
After opt-in, Google may also receive fixed categories for form starts, submission attempts or errors, estimate/contact clicks, service choices, project links and affiliate clicks. We do not send the clicked URL, form answers or error message with those interaction events. Events are not queued before permission or replayed when measurement is enabled. Only a confirmed saved enquiry is sent as a Google lead event, not a button click or an unsuccessful submission. Requests made while measurement was off are not sent later. Blockers and privacy choices mean Google reporting is not a complete count of enquiries. Google may process this information outside Canada under its privacy policy; learn how Google uses information from partner sites.
